Stepped Block Wall Fountain with Moulded Cornice
Built in two stepped stages that narrow as they rise, with hollowed shoulder returns easing the change and a moulded cornice closing the top. A single plain iron spout sits at the centre, and the trough below is a long block with the original chisel drag still legible across its outer face. There is no carving on this fountain at all, which is exactly the point. It reads as masonry rather than sculpture and settles into a rendered wall without asking for anything. Ancient Surfaces reclaimed and rebuilt this antique limestone wall fountain for kitchen gardens, stable yards, and courtyards that want quiet.
