Arched Niche Fountain with Cherub Mask and Fluted Bowl

A round headed niche cut deep enough to hold shade all afternoon, centred on a cherub mask wreathed in laurel with the spout set at the lips. The water drops into a lobed half bowl carried on a carved corbel, and the whole piece stands just under six feet. Look at the back of the niche and you can read the exact line the water has taken for two centuries, drawn in mineral and lichen.
