Pillar Wall Fountain with Ball Finial and Carved Basin

Almost nothing here is decoration. A cylindrical pillar steps up through two moulded collars to a plain ball finial, a forged iron spout leans out of a small carved rosette, and a half round basin hollowed from one heavy block waits underneath. The stone has gone silver grey with moss caught in the hollows, and the rusted spout is the only warm note in the whole piece.
