Panelled Wall Fountain with Carved Rosette Boss

A château scale panel, close to seven feet high and just as wide, with a moulded cornice above a recessed field drawn out by scrolled corner returns. The single deeply carved rosette at the centre is the only ornament, and it carries a forged iron spout that drops into a rectangular basin built from massive blocks. The restraint is the point. At this scale a busier composition would simply shout.
