Ogee Arch Wall Fountain with Monolithic Trough
One slab of limestone rising to a pointed ogee arch, shouldered at each side and drawn round with a plain moulded border. A single forged iron spout curls out of the centre, and underneath sits a monolithic trough so heavy it needs timber bearers to stand clear of the ground. There is a light green cast across the lower stone where damp has always risen. The vocabulary reads as monastic, and it settles quietly into rendered or whitewashed walls. Ancient Surfaces reclaimed and conserved this antique limestone wall fountain for cloistered courtyards, olive terraces, and Mediterranean revival gardens.
